In the beginning, before time itself, there existed only the void—a vast expanse of nothingness that stretched across the cosmos. From this void emerged two brothers, Axos and Tollost, beings of unimaginable power and wisdom, born from the very essence of existence.
Together, they stood as the architects of creation, weaving worlds from the threads of the cosmos and breathing life into the barren expanse of the universe. Among their many creations, there existed a world of unparalleled beauty and wonder: Manzanita, a realm teeming with vibrant life and boundless potential.
At the heart of Manzanita stood the Great Tree, a towering monument to the power and majesty of nature. Its branches reached toward the heavens, its roots delving deep into the earth, binding the world together in a web of life and energy. Beneath its sheltering boughs, the creatures of Manzanita thrived, living in harmony with the land and each other.
For eons, Manzanita flourished under the watchful eyes of Axos and Tollost. The brothers guided their creation with love and care, ensuring that balance and harmony were maintained. The Lattice of Life, an intricate network connecting all living beings, pulsed with the energy of the cosmos, allowing the inhabitants to communicate and thrive.
However, as time passed, a darkness began to spread across the land. This darkness, born from the hearts of mortals, fueled by greed, jealousy, and hatred, threatened to unravel the harmony that Axos and Tollost had worked so hard to create. The very beings that the brothers had nurtured turned against each other, waging wars and committing unspeakable atrocities in the name of power and dominion.
In his grief and anguish, Axos looked upon his creation with sorrow and despair. Despite his unconditional love for the inhabitants of Manzanita, they had forsaken the beauty and harmony of their world, choosing instead to embrace the darkness that lurked within their hearts. With a heavy heart, Axos made a fateful decision—to abandon his creation without malice, to turn his back on the world that he had lovingly crafted with his own hands. As he withdrew from the realm of Manzanita, leaving behind a world in turmoil, his brother Tollost remained behind, determined to guide and protect the world that they had created together.
Tollost, the God of Spirits and the Lord of Time and Space, took on the mantle of guardian, using his mastery over the temporal and spatial realms to maintain some semblance of balance. He wandered the lands, offering guidance and solace to those who sought it, but even his powers had their limits.
Amidst the chaos, whispers of a prophecy began to circulate—a prophecy that spoke of a savior who would rise to challenge the darkness and restore harmony to Manzanita. These whispers, carried by the winds and the Lattice of Life, reached the ears of a clandestine group known as the Group of Dissent. Comprised of brave souls from various walks of life, this group vowed to protect the prophecy and nurture the one who would fulfill it.
As the prologue draws to a close, the stage is set for the epic tale of Manzanita to unfold. The forces of light and darkness are poised for a confrontation that will determine the fate of the world. The Lattice of Life whispers its secrets, and the destiny of Eucalyptus, the prophesied savior, begins to take shape.
